Measures for the Administration of Construction and Operation of new energy storage power stations in Guangdong Province

前言

On September 23, the Guangdong Provincial Development and Reform Commission issued the "Guangdong Province New Energy storage Power Station Construction and Operation Management Measures (draft for Comments)", which pointed out that the planning and location of new energy storage power stations should strictly comply with relevant laws, regulations and national (industry) standards, and should fully consider safety conditions. It is strictly prohibited to set up in high-rise buildings, commercial complexes, densely populated and places with dust and corrosive gases, should not be adjacent to or set up in the production, storage, operation of flammable and explosive dangerous goods, should not be set up in the important overhead power line protection area, lithium ion battery plant should not be built in the underground or semi-underground.

In order to regulate the planning, construction and operation of new energy storage power stations in our province, and promote the orderly, safe and healthy development of new energy storage power stations, the Committee drafted the "Guangdong Province New Energy Storage Power Station Construction and Operation Management Measures (Draft for comments)". It is now open to the public for comments, and the public consultation time is from September 24 to October 11, 2024 (10 working days). Relevant units and people from all walks of life are welcome to submit comments and suggestions through letters or emails.
